The course is based on UK standards and is required for Orion contract staff in the UK.
Includes lecture and final test.
The lecture covers the following topics:
- Workplace regulations.
- Construction of grinding wheels.
- The system for marking grinding wheels.
- Selection of grinding wheels.
- Grinding wheel mounting.
- Spindle speeds allowed.
- Eye protection.
- Checking, operating, storing grinding wheels.
There is a possibility to order separately practical training for small groups and individuals.
